United, please come and get me – Van der Vaart

At last… Mesut Ozil signed with Real Madrid. It’s mean that Real Madrid will have an extra midfielder. So, they would like to off load that extra midfielder and his name is Rafael Van der Vaart.

This is not the first time United has been linked with Van der Vaart. When he is still with Ajax, United were hot favorite to sign him but as always.. Whoever United want…Real will also want!! And…normally.. they get it!

Then, Sir Alex needs to find new players and end up with the trophy but not Real Madrid. Haha!.

With the arrival of Ozil, Van der Vaart will be in trouble. Even without Ozil, he already had a difficult time to break into the squad.
That is why he chooses to issue Manchester United ‘come and get me’ plea…

Sir Alex Ferguson is understood to have made enquiries about the Dutch midfielder, who is one of four Galacticos to have been put up for sale by the Spanish club.

Van der Vaart, 27, said: “I could never play for another club in Spain and the truth is that if you are leaving Real Madrid, there is only one club you can join that is not a step down – and that’s Manchester United.

“They are a huge club and if the reported interest they have in me turns out to be true, then I would really have to sit down and listen.

“If Manchester United could offer me first-team football with the situation as it is at Madrid, it would be very hard to turn down. Alex Ferguson is a great coach and I would never think about joining a team where I didn’t believe I could win things, so all of a sudden that limits your choices.

“At Manchester United you know success is likely and that’s a big factor for me at this stage of my career.

“If [Real boss] Jose Mourinho makes it clear I won’t play much, I see my future in English football.”

Manchester United signed Tiago Manuel Dias Correia aka Bebe

I am very shock when Manutd signed this guy. He is totally unknown and there are no Youtube video & Wikipedia page about him by the time he signed with United. He only played for Third Division football in Portugal and a handful of friendlies for his new club, Vitoria Guimaraes.

His best achievement maybe represented Portugal in Homeless World Cup!!.
Then, United made a shock £7.4million move which activated the release clause in his contract after Sir Alex Ferguson agreed with his former Manchester United assistant coach and current Portugal manager Carlos Queiroz recommendation.

We are waiting for Ozil..but we got Bebe! Some said he is our 8th striker this season…but some also said..he is actually an attacking midfielder. But..Sir Alex Ferguson said that he is a winger!!.

He is 20 years old and his height is 6ft 2in. By watching below video, he looks like a very straight forward player and very fast too. Its hard to find the player as tall as Bebe can run that fast with a ball.

From living on the streets, to growing up in a shelter and playing within the organization that puts together Portugal’s Homeless World Cup team and finally, signing with one of the biggest clubs in the world at the age of 20. Surely Disney is already scheduling a release date for his biopic. Hahah..

And..and…and..the best quote about this signing from our fan..

” We got Mame, Nani, Bebe and now we need Dade “

Germany rejects ‘transfer bid’ from Spain for World Cup STAR!!

A German zoo has turned down a “transfer request” from Spain for its star performer during the football World Cup – Paul the “psychic” octopus.

The famous octopus correctly predicted the outcome of all of Germany’s seven matches in the tournament, and also plumped for Spain to lift the trophy to give all 100% correct prediction – 8 out of 8.

This made him an instant hero in Spain, and now Madrid’s Zoo says it wants to put Paul on display in its aquarium.

But Oberhausen’s Sea Life centre said there was no chance of Paul being sold.

Ever since Paul predicted Spain’s triumph in the month-long tournament in South Africa, he has become a celebrity in Spain.

Fans watching last Sunday’s final in Madrid sported mini-Pauls on their T-shirts and squidgy replicas on top of their hats.

The octopus is already an honorary citizen of one Spanish town, and a summer festival in Paul’s name is being planned in the country.

Even Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero stepped in to offer protection, after bitter German fans threatened to eat Paul for predicting Germany’s defeat in the semi-final against Spain.

One Spanish fan said that Paul should replace the bull, which is often seen on Spanish flags.

“The octopus has done more [good] things that the bull,” the fan said.

But sadly for many Spaniards, Paul is staying home in Oberhausen.
