Malaysia advance & Manchester United follow…

What a wonderful day..

Host Indonesia did Malaysia a big favour by beating Thailand 2-1, a result that helped Malaysia who beat Laos 5-1, move into the semifinals of the AFF Suzuki Cup when both the group matches ended last night.

With the outcome, Malaysia advanced to the semifinals as Group A runner-up behind Indonesia and meet Vietnam, Singapore or the Philippines who decide on the outcome Wednesday.

However, it is also mean a bad news for ex-Manutd captain, Bryan Robson and currently Thailand’s coach because he should be responsible for Thailand failure to advance from group stage for the first time in AFF Cup history.

Then…early this morning… a rare goal from Anderson in second half gave United a point in a captivating encounter with Valencia, ensuring Manutd passage to the knockout stages of the Champions League as winners of Group C. However, Valencia’s Hernandez first goal means that United failed to make a new clean sheet record in Champions League.

United dominated 2nd half but failed to score more.

Another good news is… WAYNE ROONEY IS BACK AT HIS BEST!!

Ferguson confirms Rooney wants to leave Manchester United

It’s really hurt. After making Ferguson look like a liar by denying that he had an ankle injury, he makes Ferguson disappointed and saddened after he confirmed the rumors that he wants to leave the club.

“I asked to have a meeting with the boy. He reiterated what his agent said, that he wanted to go.
“It’s disappointing because we have done everything we possibly can to help Wayne Rooney ever since he came to the club. We have always been here as a harbour for him any time he has been in trouble.”

“David telephoned me and said he was on his way over because he had some bad news,” said Ferguson.
“His agent said he wouldn’t sign his contract and wanted away.”
“It was a shock. I couldn’t believe it,’

The rumor said.. Wayne Rooney asked for £230,000-a-week to broker a deal but United can’t offer more than £150,000. With such a demand…he possibly will end up at City or Chelsea!!

2010/2011 Season, My Manutd

Manchester United announced squad for 2010-11 season

United today announced their squad for the current Premiership campaign.

After much debate, crocked midfielder Owen Hargreaves has been included in the 24-man Premier League squad.

New rules require all Premiership clubs to register a maximum of 25 players following the close of the transfer window between now and the re-opening of the transfer window in January.
Players who are under 21 at the turn of 2011 can play without being named in the squads.
Eight of the 25 need to be ‘homegrown’, which means they must have been trained in England or Wales for three seasons before they turned 21.
Changes to the squads outside of the transfer windows can only be made in exceptional circumstances, such as when a move made be allowed because of a goalkeeping crisis.
