I have read today news at The Star and found out that the ticket really selling fast likes goreng pisang panas!!

Proevents claimed that already 60% tickets has been sold with all RM98 tickets sold out!! Maybe that is why my colleague have a difficult time to find the ticket in Al-Ikhsan & Nike outlet yesterday.

Tickets are being snapped up real fast for the football match between English Premier League (EPL) champions Manchester United and a Malaysian Selection at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on July 18.

The managing director of ProEvents, the promoters of the Manchester United Asia Tour 2009, San Boon Wah, said that at least 60% of the 85,000 tickets put on sale have been sold out.

“We advise fans to buy the tickets early to avoid any disappointment,” said Boon Wah at a press conference to announce Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur as the official hotel for the Manchester United Asia Tour 2009.

The tickets are sold at RM58, RM68, RM98 while a limited VIP ticket is priced at RM308. The RM98 tickets, however, have been sold out.

There will also be 2,000 student tickets priced at RM28 (normal price RM68) and they are only available at the Ticketpro headquarters in Kelana Jaya.

Besides Malaysia, Manchester United will be in action in Jakarta (July 20), Seoul (July 24) and Hangzhou (July 26).
