The first time I agreed with Shebby Singh!
We simply cannot NOT talk about Kaka, the Brazilian star who is allegedly wanted by Manchester City.
The money being bandied around – at last mention it was GBP175 million – seems crazy but then, welcome to the world of football.
If fellow Brazilian, Robinho, is worth GBP32 million then surely Kaka is worth many times that. The World Player of the Year in 2007 is certainly at the right age and, as so often happens, ready for a fresh challenge.
The latest update according to the media in the UK is that he has turned down the unbelievable offer from the blue half of Manchester. So, this has naturally opened up new possibilities for him in this transfer window, considering his skills and track record with AC Milan. Now, I am not going to bore you with his achievements but rather about how he would fit into the plans of some managers of prominent Premier League clubs.
The Red Devils would be perfect for Kaka as they could do with an attacking midfielder playing behind the front two.
As I write this, Wayne Rooney has just limped off against Wigan after scoring what was the only goal of the game. The fact that Carlos Tevez hobbled his way to the final whistle now leaves Manchester United rather thin upfront.
With this new development, I expect Alex Ferguson to play Ronaldo in a more free role now off Dimitar Berbatov, like last season when the Portuguese scored 42 goals. So, Kaka would be the perfect signing.
If indeed he goes to Manchester City, Kaka would fit alongside Robinho in a 4-3-2-1. The sight of Benjani marauding at the tip of the triangle . . . that would be simply awesome!
The Arsenal fans would love Kaka instead of Arshavin in central midfield prompting the Arsenal attack.
By the way, if Milan had signed Emmanuel Adebayor at the start of the season, he would have played together with Kaka. So, there you go, a dream partnership that could still happen.
At Stamford Bridge, Philip Luis Scolari must be cursing the American bankers for the credit crunch as Kaka would have been the one to kick life into Chelsea again after Robinho decided light blue was a better colour then deep blue.
And finally, if Kaka ever makes a move to Anfield, he will spend most of his time warming his arse on the bench! - Shebby Singh, themalaysianinsider.com
The last statement is 100% correct. Liverpool can’t stand attacking midfielder..hahaha…defensive midfielder??..YES! Boring boring team..
But Shebby…United don’t need Kaka!! We already World Champion without him. With Kaka…AC Milan only played in UEFA Cup. Hua hua hua.
