Econsave vs Jusco in Balakong
On my way to our vendor in Balakong, I have seen Econsave hypermarket just beside AEON or Jusco Mall. Jusco Mall is quite huge and modern building, however what makes Econsave different is that… their hypermarket was the only hypermarket in Malaysia that use metal building.
Metal buildings or steel buildings are fast gaining popularity and preference over conventional building materials such as wood and lumber. The reasons are the several advantages you enjoy with a metal building as compared to other materials where such benefits are absent.
Also, an insatiable demand for non-renewable resources like wood has resulted in clearing of forest cover which has adversely affected the global environment. High costs, low availability and limited options have led to the shift from other building materials to metal buildings.
Maybe that is the reason why some of my colleagues said that… Econsave was a lot cheaper compared to Jusco!!
The only things that disappointed me is that…. I cannot find any original Manchester United merchandise in their premise..sigghhh..

Been there 1 time and that is my last time.
Nobody serving you if you having trouble searching for something. The products arranged messy and dusty. You don’t like to hold it for sure. You cannot even turn the trolley on that slippery floor. The floor is oily!!! The place is dark, smelly, and its…(vomit).
Econsave cheaper?? Maybe some item, but not all.
I rather pay more to get into a better and comfort place.
Try to get there and see, when you see the building, you don’t even want to turn into econsave parking area if you see the Jusco beside it.
Maybe u r the rich guy…that y u said “I rather pay more to get into a better and comfort place” u wont know some poor families or low income people to get better choose or price for some product compare others supermarket or hypermarket…i think u should learn and understand what r u comment right now!!!don’t simply said!!! One more thing!!! don’t simply said “I cannot find any original Manchester United merchandise in their premise..sigghhh..” please respect what r u writing now…if u really not satisfy then u open your own Manchester United premise k…for example, if i said i want buy ferrari car…izzit i can find at jusco???please…be mature k…take initiative, not anythings u wish to buy can find out only one premise…!!!

I am supplier for Econsave & Jusco as well.Both cater for different kind of customers.Jusco-The middle to High end & Econsave- the Lower income & Middle Income.
Jusco is situated at a complex where you can find almost anything you need while Econsave have never pretend to be anything but a supermarket for people to get their items at a fair price.
I have never come across any smelly or dirty situations there as their operations manager always frequent the areas.The exterior of the complex may not look attractive but if you are loking for some real bargain ,its a place to go.As for fresh items, Econsave sourced it directly from Market daily thus the items is always fresh.As i have said that Econsave cater to mainly Lower income & Middle Income,however i have noted the increased of customers who are driving luxury cars there to shop.Perhaps this is due to the economy & the existence of outlets like Econsave offer shoppers more options & in turn will make others supermarkets competitive to the benefit of consumers.
